We are the inhouse design and engineering department of Boskalis and provide engineering solutions for large infrastructure projects in the ports, offshore energy, maritime and inland infrastructure markets around the world. By continuously changing between office and construction sites, our engineers align Boskalis capabilities and resources to the needs of the projects and combine state of the art knowledge with practical experience. This guarantees the best design in terms of values, costs and constructability.
Our graduation topics are driven by the challenges we are facing on projects and link to a broad range of disciplines: Geotechnics; Morphology; Ecology; Bed Bank and Shore protection; Social Responsibility. Based on thorough system understanding, our graduates explore inclusive design alternatives in which Building with Nature is a starting point to bring extra values to our projects. Interns at Hydronamic receive daily supervision from our professional staff, but more important: they will work in an open atmosphere where they can easily connect to other students and employees to sharpen their thoughts and explore new horizons.

Should you already incline to a specific topic or research direction, feel free to include this as well. On a continuous basis we have graduate assignments available which are either suitable for WO- and HBO-students.
To be considered for a graduate assignment within Hydronamic you:
• are a HBO or WO student;
• study in/are a resident of the Netherlands;
• are a creative thinker;
• have affinity with marine contracting and engineering;
• can translate theory into practice;
• have knowledge of task supporting software;
• are willing to travel;
• master the English language in word and written.
As an intern, you can expect your hours to be compensated in cash. When demonstrable no longer in the possession of an OV-student travel product, travel costs will be reimbursed on a commuter traffic base. The added value of a graduate internship at Boskalis, however, is particularly in elements like:

The head office of Boskalis is situated in Papendrecht, the Netherlands. This will be your station during your graduate internship.
