As SHEQ program manager you will make your mark in contributing to the SHEQ working environment for all our colleagues. You will do this for our divisions worldwide, namely: Dredging, Inland Infra, Offshore Energy and Towage/Salvage.
As SHEQ Program Manager you are a member of the corporate SHEQ team, committed to effective SHEQ management. At Boskalis, our Way of Working (WoW) management system drives operational excellence through safe, sustainable, and client-centric solutions. We prioritize Occupational Health and Safety, striving for an incident-free workplace with our NINA (No Injuries, No Accidents) safety program, which emphasizes that safety is everyone's responsibility. Environmental management is also embedded in our WoW, ensuring sustainable practices across all projects.
For our NINA approach you will work together with the SHEQ department to develop a long term strategy (www.boskalis-nina.com).
Your responsibilities SHEQ program manager
- Developing and contributing to our behavioral based NINA approach and quality management system and further strengthening the SHEQ consciousness within Boskalis.
- Actively guiding the processes, culture, behavior and consciousness.
- Organizing, planning and providing training, workshops and meetings.
- Proactively communicating with stakeholders and divisions.
- Actively visiting projects and advising the management.
- Implementing new program tools.
- Develop interventions to increase adherence to our management systems.
- Closely monitor international trends and monitor if and how to implement them.
Your qualities and experience
You can move ahead as a SHEQ program manager if you have:
- A bachelor degree, preferably related to SHEQ.
- Knowledge and experience in behavioral based safety and quality programs.
- At least 4 years of SHEQ experience.
- Work experience in an international organization (big plus).
- A good command of written and spoken English.
- You’re willing to travel (within Europe, Middle East, Far East) occasionally.

Extra information
- Your team: You will be part of the corporate SHEQ team consisting of 8 colleagues. You will report to the director corporate SHEQ.
- Where you will work: You will be based in the head office in Papendrecht. Occasionally travelling to different projects around the world.
- Full/part-time job: The position of SHEQ program manager is a fulltime job (40 hours a week).
