Make your mark as Market Analyst at Boskalis Offshore Energy Marine Services! Our Offshore Energy division is growing and we are increasing our efforts on monitoring our markets for our division and the Marine Services business unit.
As Market Analyst you will be the center point in the Marine Services business unit to manage the market outlooks and market insights based on internal intel and external data, with overall Data Analysis forming a key part of the role.
You will work together with the Market Intelligence team who have a similar role for the Offshore Energy division.
Your responsibilities as Market Analyst:
- Responsible for fulfilling all market insight (analysis, reports, dashboard, write ups, etc) needs at Marine Services
- Collaborate with management to understand what market insight is required and how this is realised
- Realise market insight through own analysis of internal and external info/data, this includes coordination of internal and external resources when required
- Build and provide management reports (quantitative and qualitative) regarding market and competition
- Build or coordinate dashboards for commercial and management use
Your qualities and experience
You can make your mark as a Market Analyst if you have:
- Most important is experience around data analysis, reporting and translating this into clear, easily digestible insights plus experience with obtaining data and intel from working together with teams
- Experience in conducting qualitative/quantitative market analyses and coordination among colleagues and external parties.
- Knowledge of the maritime market is a plus, but not necessary. Ideal for a consultant or (market) analyst looking for the next step
- A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration or similar.
- A good command of written and spoken English and/or Dutch.

- Your team: In this role you will report to BU manager of Marine Services and collaborate with the market intelligence team in the division
- Where you will work: For office-based roles, in consultation with your manager and your team, you work partly at home and partly in the office.
