You’re studying and enjoying student life to the fullest. Now it’s time to start gaining some relevant experience for after graduation. Preferably by doing an internship where you can make an impact. An(inter)national challenge to exceed your own expectations. Boskalis may have what you’re looking for.
An internship could be the kick-start to your Boskalis career. Discover just how versatile Boskalis is and meet interesting people who’ll be of value for the rest of your career. And while it’s not a given, many one-time Boskalis interns go on to become trainees or starters within the company.
Talented people are crucial in our knowledge intensive industry. Our internships are a way for students to get to know our business and kickstart their career. Most internships are technical, nautical or in the field of finance & control and directly linked to Boskalis’ core business. We have both practical and graduate internships available. Please see our vacancy overview for current positions.
Plenty of implementation and work preparation internships are available at Boskalis Nederland. We’re also looking for civil engineering students at intermediate or higher vocational education level for various projects in the disciplines roads, concrete, construction and hydraulic engineering. Think about projects like the motorway expansion between Schiphol airport, Amsterdam and Almere (SAAone) or the widening of the Wilhelmina Channel in Tilburg. The great thing about these internships is that you can be involved in multidisciplinary projects, many of them based on modern contract types. An internship within Boskalis Nederland is the perfect opportunity to get comfortable with the various aspects of your future profession.
If you’re up for an adventure, you can take your internship abroad. We often have opportunities on project sites all around the globe, especially for Civil Engineering, Finance & Control and Ocean Technology students. Of course we will provide you with all the information you need and take care of necessities like the journey to and from the project site, accommodation, (reimbursement of) meals and required vaccinations.
Not surprisingly – looking at our versatile fleet - Boskalis also offers crewing internships to students that follow a maritime officer’s (Marof) course. The context of the internship strongly depends on the type of vessel you’re assigned to. It will most likely be one of the vessels in our dredging fleet, for example our trailing suction hopper dredger Queen of the Netherlands. See our vacancy overview for open positions.
