About the Development Track
The Boskalis Maritime Technology Development Track is a unique 18-month program for individuals with technical experience, even if it's outside the maritime sector, or for those with vessel experience seeking a more technical role.
From day one, you will team up with an experienced Technical Superintendent and you get the opportunity to work various assignments in three different departments. This means you will learn a lot by doing, but you can also count on a bunch of technical courses. These courses may cover topics such as Dredging & Offshore equipment, Marine Engineering and Statutory and Classification Certificates and industry compliancy (i.e. IMCA, OCIMF). Beyond technical skill development, the program also focuses on personal growth, providing guidance from internal and external trainers as well as a dedicated Boskalis mentor.
During the Boskalis Maritime Technology Development Track, you will have the opportunity to work on various assignments for our fleet management department in different divisions.

To be eligible to apply you have fully completed secondary vocational education (MBO) in mechanical-, marine-, or electrical engineering or similar and at least 3-year experience in a technical role.

As a Technical Superintendent, you must be willing to work abroad. How often and the duration depends on the project.
