Make your mark as Senior Commercial Manager for Boskalis Offshore Heavy Lifting! As Commercial Manager you have an appetite for establishing and maintaining relationships with our present and future clients, market parties as well as internal stakeholders. You actively monitor opportunities in the Oil & Gas (O&G) and Decommissioning market. Your main goal will be to acquire new projects for Boskalis Offshore Heavy Lifting in consideration of the existing Offshore Wind pipeline. You have a drive to contribute to the continuity and further development of our market approach.
Imagine starting the first contact in order to finally see your colleagues execute various international and ‘one of a kind’ projects which often get media exposure, such as:
- The decommissioning (removal, transport and load-in) of platforms located in the North Sea.
Your responsibilities as Senior Commercial Manager:
- You are fully up to date on O&G and decommissioning developments and target relevant new business opportunities.
- You like to understand what is driving our client and work along with them to make a success.
- Negotiating contracts with substantial complexity.
- Challenge the tender team to tailor the client’s need.
- Maintain and manage external as well as internal relationships.
Your qualities
You can make your mark as Senior Commercial Manager if you:
- Have at least 10 years of work experience in a sales/commercial position, preferably in O&G;
- Have experience in approaching clients in the Offshore Energy industry;
- Experience working in an international playing field;
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken);
- Are willing to travel worldwide.

- It is required to identify and use market and competitor insights to meet current and future business needs;
- Taking action and pro actively visit clients.

Extra information
- Your team: You will become part of the Commercial Team within Boskalis Offshore Heavy Lifting. The team (including yourself) consists of 7 professionals.
- Where you will work: The Papendrecht Head office is where the majority of activities will take place, however we can be flexible on the location if required. You like to travel internationally regularly and to meet our clients in person.
- Fulltime/ part time job: In principal the position of Commercial Manager is a fulltime job (40 hours a week over 5 working days).
