Over Boskalis
You can imagine that Boskalis, with a fleet of 900 ships and equipment, has a lot to offer you as a CAD Engineer. After all, the ships and equipment have to be adapted continuously to the specific requirements of the various projects. As a CAD Engineer, you have an important role to play in this respect when it comes to dredging equipment: you draw designs and constructions, including the associated detailed drawings, draw up conversion proposals and create order drawings. You keep a close eye on the prescribed standards for CAD drawings, choice of materials and joining techniques. The equipment used for the Dredging & Inland Infra Division includes trailing suction hopper dredgers, cutter suction dredgers, backhoe dredgers and grab cranes. In short: as a CAD Engineer at Boskalis you work with large equipment, which makes your job technically complex and challenging!

In the role of CAD Engineer, you will be part of Fleet Development Department (FDD). Part of the department Central Fleet Support. This department provides technical support to the three divisions of Boskalis (Dredging & Inland Infra, Offshore Energy and Towage & Salvage). You will be working in a team of seven colleagues, where in addition to hard work there is always room for humour and conviviality. You are accountable to the Head of the Drawing Office.
