As Production Engineer you advise the business units during tender stage and will be the one who analyzes how we can deploy our dredging equipment as efficiently as possible. The tasks of the production department include, among other things:
- Preparing production estimates for dredging projects during the tender phase.
- Actively following up on the production process and work methodology on project in the Netherlands and abroad.
- Transferring knowledge from tender phase to the project team and crew once a project is started.
- Working at project sites and providing advice to optimize the dredging process of the dredging fleet.
- Recording and deepening dredging technical knowledge for future tenders.
- Advising on modifications and new construction of dredging equipment.
You can make a difference as Production Engineer if you bring the following:
- At least a higher professional education (HBO) level in a technical field and interest and may be some experience in the dredging industry.
- A sharp analytical mind and ability to interpret and process large amounts of data.
- Problem-solving ability: You have an inquisitive, investigative, creative, and flexible mindset.
- You function well in a team, but you can also work independently. You connect people at all levels.
- You enjoy carrying out your work both at the headquarters and on project sites.

Extra information
Your team: You will join a team of 40 enthusiastic production and soil engineers. You will report to the Manager of the Dredging Department.
Where you will work: For office-based roles, in consultation with your manager and your team, you work partly at home and partly in the office.
Full/part-time job: The position of production engineer is a full-time (40 hours a week) job.
