Your responsibilities as Senior Dredge Operator Cutter is:
- Operate the dredger in order to get maximum production according to the operational capabilities of the dredger and ensure daily production according project requirements;
- Ensuring safe work environment for all personnel on deck during the watch.
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant company's (safety) guidelines and procedures.
- Responsible for the safe navigation and anchoring of the assigned equipment under all conditions during the watch.
- Ensuring compliance with the requirements for operational plan of work (piping, boosters, anchors etc.).
- Coordinating the work of the deck duty and providing instructions.
- Executing emergency repairs during the watch.
Your qualities and experience
You can move ahead as Senior Dredge Operator Cutter if you have:
- Experience with verifiable reference on a self-propelled cutter dredger with at least 2500kW cutter power.
- Excellent knowledge of the dredging process and the specific requirements for navigation and anchor handling during operational dredging.
- Valid STCW documents. Holding a COC of minimum 3000 GT and above is a plus.
- A good command of written and spoken English.
- Valid seafarers medical certificate.
